Candlelight Yoga is a peaceful, restorative way to wind down your day. A slower-paced Yin Yoga class with restorative postures and gentle movements. Props like yoga blankets, bolsters, bands, and blocks are used to assist in finding comfort during your practice. This practice will be lit entirely by candlelight and is suitable for all levels – especially beginners, yogis that need a little more relaxation and athletes looking for muscle recovery.

Preparation for class

  • Come one, come all. This class is suitable for all levels of students. Infused in the longer, more passive holds, the yin style involves surrendering into poses and exploring them for longer periods of time in order to let go of tensions. It also makes a great starting place for yoga newbies.
  • Relaxation. This practice will be lit entirely by candlelight helping us to relax, still our minds and open the deep connective tissues in the body using various Yin asanas.
  • Come prepared. Participants aren’t required to bring anything to classes. All mats and props will be provided. Bare feet or yoga socks. Come prepared to rest, relax and unwind your day.
